About the Role

As a Residential Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. Your role will involve creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that respects the dignity and preferences of our residents.

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support
• Support the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews
• Create a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that respects the dignity and preferences of our residents

About You

We are looking for individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We offer ongoing training opportunities, so there's no limit to how far you can go with us. Many of our Senior Care Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
