Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in promoting and facilitating event services, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey for clients. This role is vital in achieving business objectives, fostering client relationships, and enhancing the overall success of our event services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Interaction:

  • Engage with clients through various communication channels to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Provide comprehensive information about our event offerings, emphasizing key features and advantages.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up with potential clients to convert leads into successful bookings.

2. Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in event planning and industry developments.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our services to effectively communicate their value to clients.

3. Sales Management:

  • Guide clients through the sales process, including service selection and contract negotiations.
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.

4. Relationship Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with team members and vendors to enhance the overall client experience.

5. Event Coordination:

  • Work closely with the events team to ensure flawless execution of event plans.
  • Assist clients with logistical details and provide support leading up to and during the event.

6. Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including preferences and special requests.
  • Prepare and present reports to management as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the events industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of event trends and etiquette.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • A passion for events and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Commercially astute and motivated.
  • Proactive and determined to succeed.
