Job Overview:

We are on the lookout for a passionate and proactive Ceremony and Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting and delivering exceptional event services, ensuring clients have a seamless and enjoyable experience. This position is essential for achieving sales goals, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our event services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Interaction:

  • Engage with clients in person, over the phone, and via email to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Provide comprehensive information about event services, emphasizing key features and advantages.
  • Respond swiftly to inquiries and follow up with potential clients to convert leads into successful bookings.

2. Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in event planning and industry developments.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of event services to effectively communicate their value to clients.

3. Sales Management:

  • Guide clients through the sales journey, including service selection, customization options, and contract discussions.
  • Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

4. Relationship Development:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with team members, vendors, and partners to enhance the overall event experience for clients.

5. Event Coordination:

  • Work closely with the events team to ensure flawless execution of event plans.
  • Assist clients with logistical details and provide support leading up to and during the event.

6. Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including contact information and special requests.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the event planning industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of event trends, traditions, and etiquette.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • A passion for events and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively.
