Job Summary:

HFG is seeking a highly skilled Risk Actuary to join our Risk Capital team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice and support in relation to quantitative risk and capital assessment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of Risk Limits: You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining risk limits to ensure that our organization operates within acceptable risk parameters.
  • Validation Exercises: You will participate in validation exercises for each risk type and support model change applications to ensure that our risk models are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Stress and Scenario Testing: You will conduct stress and scenario testing to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Capital Model Development: You will work with the Group Risk team to develop and maintain the capital model, ensuring compliance with Group requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: You will work with the regulator to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in market-wide exercises.
