**Job Summary**

Tony Gee and Partners, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Power and Energy team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and construction supervision of structural design packages for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and construction supervision of structural design packages, including substation buildings, switching station buildings, general foundations, wind turbine foundations, retaining walls, and bridges.
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and welfare policies and procedures.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, and other documents to ensure controlled execution of projects.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary design teams and business managers to achieve budget and strategy targets.
  • Develop and maintain existing and new business relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer with IStructE or ICE.
  • Proven experience in design of foundations, building structures, and project management.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Civil/structural engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Design experience of power-related structures, such as substation buildings, switching station buildings, and wind turbine foundations.
