Job Title: Software Development Engineer - Salesforce

At Barclays, we're seeking a talented Software Development Engineer - Salesforce to join our team. As a key member of our Salesforce development team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and improving software solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations.
  • Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience.
  • UI/UX design experience.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Salesforce certifications and test automation experience are highly valued.
