Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashiering Specialist to join our team at Maxim Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of cashiering duties, in compliance with regulations and to maintain high service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process various types of payments, including wire transfers, direct debits, and foreign payments
  • Handle client and office account payments, receipts, and multi-currency transactions
  • Provide interest calculations and manage client money deposits
  • Support system/process projects across the team and contribute to changes

Working with Our Team:

You will work closely with solicitors and other financial professionals across the business, supporting client transactions and offering guidance when required. You will be part of a supportive and established team, offering excellent opportunities for career progression.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a related financial role would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Good general accounts/finance experience is required
  • Ideal knowledge of cashiering duties and compliance regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills
  • Proficiency in using electronic banking systems
