The Role:

You'll be responsible for managing the requirements engineering governance, ensuring the quality and integrity of Skynet contract requirements, and collaborating with Technical Leads to create and review requirements documentation. You'll also be responsible for administering the Requirements Management Databases (RMDB) and facilitating DOORSTM training and support for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage requirements engineering governance in liaison with the Chief Engineer
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of Skynet contract requirements and associated updates
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads to create and review requirements documentation
  • Administer the Requirements Management Databases (RMDB)
  • Facilitate DOORSTM training and support for stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Extensive systems engineering experience with specialism in requirements definition, verification, validation, and transition to service
  • Knowledge of UK MOD practices and ways of working
  • Lead practitioner/expert in determining and managing stakeholder requirements, requirements validation, and transition to operation
  • Conversant with accreditation standards for bringing into service telecommunications systems
  • Experience in delivery in a Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) environment

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering
  • HNC/HND with equivalent, relevant experience is valued and welcomed

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
