About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Public Engagement Analyst to join our Science Policy and Research team at NICE. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our programme of deliberative public engagement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with teams across NICE to identify and prioritise topics requiring deliberative public engagement.
  • Design and develop NICE Listens projects, including developing briefs for Executive Team sign-off.
  • Analyse and interpret complex quantitative and qualitative research evidence and data from various sources.
  • Disseminate findings from deliberative public engagement and support implementation across NICE.
  • Contribute to the wider work of the Science Policy and Research team, including methods research, funding applications, science policy work, and providing technical support to senior staff.

Person Specification
  • Master's degree or Doctorate, or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and further training/development, ideally in health or social science research and/or health policy work.

  • Aware of the extent and nature of NICE's stakeholder community, including a good understanding of the range and roles of organisations representing the interests of patients and the public.
