About the RoleAs a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children in their first steps in Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment. You will teach the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to groups of children, focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
You will further develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry, while helping children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories. Additionally, you will keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.
About the SchoolOur school is a 4-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Windsor. We offer a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms. Our school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through its supportive pastoral environment.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have relevant qualifications and be able to commute to Windsor via public transport. You should also have the confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
