About This Role
We are seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants to support a young lady in her daily life and help her maintain independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while developing valuable skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks as needed, promoting dignity and respect.
- Provide support for mental health needs, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Accompany the individual to various social activities and appointments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Administer medication as instructed, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Engage in meaningful activities with the individual, such as crafts, shopping, or attending events like theatre performances or sporting activities.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and support to individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with the individual and their family.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure is required.
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
