Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Network/Infrastructure Technician to join our team as an Infrastructure Services Delivery Expert. As a key member of our IT team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality infrastructure services to our global operations, ensuring the reliability and security of our systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver infrastructure services to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the infrastructure environment
- Work with hardware and software vendors to resolve technical support issues
- Coordinate with global architects and regional Data Center teams to ensure infrastructure and systems meet GKN Aerospace standards
- Actively monitor system infrastructure to manage business systems and security risks
- Automate IT infrastructure delivery processes
- Manage incidents, events, and changes to infrastructure services
- Ensure asset and configuration management
Requirements
- IT Service Desk and/or IT infrastructure experience
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- Self-driven with a motivation to succeed and provide world-class services to the business
- Experience working in a high-availability, high-demand environment
- Able to work effectively in a virtual team environment
- Strong documentation skills
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
