Facilities Operations Supervisor – Competitive Salary Based on Experience
Our client, a well-established firm specializing in Property Development and Residential Management, is currently in search of a Facilities Operations Supervisor. This role presents an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive organization that values career advancement.
In this position, you will lead a team of four, managing the daily functions of the group while reporting directly to the Head of Property Management. Your responsibilities will include effective communication with tenants, contractors, and various internal teams. Previous leadership experience is essential.
While an ARLA qualification is preferred, the organization is willing to support candidates in obtaining this certification if they have not yet completed it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of four, which includes two maintenance coordinators and two in-house maintenance personnel
- Provide coverage for maintenance coordinators during their absences
- Coordinate contractors and manage tasks for scheduled servicing
- Address maintenance-related concerns
- Identify and onboard new contractors
- Authorize significant invoices
- Review and assess quotes
- Conduct weekly maintenance team meetings
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated management experience within the property sector
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities
- Proficient in multitasking and maintaining accuracy under pressure
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- ARLA qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Working Hours: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday
