Job Opportunity: Modern Foreign Languages Head of Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Modern Foreign Languages Head of Department to join our team at Wayman Education. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Modern Foreign Languages department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage the Modern Foreign Languages department, including curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education program.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Modern Foreign Languages teacher and leader.
  • Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
