Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Business Manager to lead the delivery of a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste and water network functions, above and below ground.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery of all capital projects to budget, ensuring turnover is managed in line with forecast.
- Delivery of all construction projects on the program with 100% compliance with client specifications and corporate standards.
- Led, motivated, and developed a multi-disciplined team of Project Managers and Project Delivery Engineers, reviewing performance whilst monitoring and maintaining resource mix to meet the predicted workload.
- Ensuring effective flow and input of commercial information to meet the financial deadlines of the business.
- Deliver all projects within legislative and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Environmental compliance, and HR responsibilities.
- Maintenance, delivery, and development of ISO 9000, 14000 and 18000 business systems.
- Management of multiple stakeholders, developing sustainable, long-lasting relationships across all areas of the internal business and our supply chain.
- Background within Utilities or Engineering sectors is essential.
- Experience managing a project to delivery.
- Sound experience in commercial awareness and budgets.
- Have proven experience in managing a large team in person and remotely.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have your transport.
- Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus, bank holidays)
- Car Allowance of £5,800 per annum.
