As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals with physical or learning disabilities, enabling them to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with various activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility support.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Ensure the safety and security of individuals at all times, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement personalized support plans, promoting individual goals and outcomes.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements

  • Compassion and empathy when interacting with individuals and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • SVQ qualifications in Care or a related field (desirable).
