Job Title: Rehabilitation Assistant - Neurorehabilitation ServiceJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our Community Neurorehabilitation service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitation to adults with neurological diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist therapists in providing neurorehabilitation services to adults living in Lambeth and Southwark.
  • Undertake specific, skilled support work to aid patients' rehabilitation.
  • Work autonomously, reporting back to therapists on patients' progress or any problems.
  • Assist the team with administrative and clerical duties.
  • Be involved in supporting group therapy.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with adults with disabilities.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team with a clear understanding of the assistant role.
  • Good general education (to GCSE or equivalent).
  • Relevant higher education such as NVQ 3 qualification (or equivalent experience).
