Core hours Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (expected to be on site for start time, travel to site paid at OT rate)

We are in search of a skilled and proactive Site Operations Manager to supervise the installation and upkeep of storage systems across various client sites.

The Site Operations Manager will be tasked with liaising with clients, leading a team of Installers, and ensuring that projects are delivered punctually, within financial constraints, and in accordance with established timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all contractors adhere to the project timeline.
  • Provide daily updates to Contracts Managers and Clients regarding project status.
  • Oversee the quality control of contractor work.
  • Monitor contractor punctuality.
  • Facilitate small deliveries to maintain project schedules.
  • Document project progress through photographs for future case studies.
  • Manage site waste to prevent hazards.
  • Compile reports and survey findings.
  • Follow instructions based on building plans, mezzanine floor plans, and racking layouts.
  • Conduct pre-installation site assessments to ensure approved designs fit the building.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors on-site to finalize detail requirements.
  • Identify potential hazards that may affect the installation or design teams.
  • Ensure each construction phase is signed off according to pre-project planning.
  • Maintain clean and presentable working areas for clients.
  • Account for all company-owned items.
  • Report accurate on-site modifications to the Operations Director via appropriate channels.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client, contractors, and the Operations Director.
  • Represent the company with the utmost professionalism.
  • Navigate projects with a focus on methods and principles.
  • Address contractor challenges on-site in a professional manner.
  • Build effective relationships with Principal Contractors.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Possess knowledge of Building Control Regulations.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all projects under supervision.
  • Hold an IPAF and CSCS card.
  • SSSTS, SMSTS, and forklift certification are desirable.
  • Familiarity with Construction Design Management is advantageous.
  • Supervisors typically travel around 40,000 miles annually.
  • Occasional overnight stays may be required, usually 1-2 times.
