Bar Supervisor Opportunity at De Vere Wokefield Estate

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team at De Vere Wokefield Estate in Reading. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of bar tenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of bar tenders to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of service quality.
  • Develop and implement effective bar operations, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling.
  • Work closely with the bar manager to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for bar staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a bar or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
