Electrical Test and Inspection/Installations Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test and Inspection/Installations Engineer to join our team at PHS Compliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and testing on customer electrical installations, including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis, thermal imaging, and small remedial repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out inspections and testing on customer electrical installations
  • Completing relevant reports and certification associated with inspections and testing
  • Carrying out LED lighting replacements in hours and out of hours
  • Working with our cloud-based certification software

  • A competitive salary of £39,312 with average earnings of circa £50,350
  • Realistic earning potential excluding overtime on weekends circa £46,500

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts
  • Travelling to sites across ROI and the flexibility to stop over when required
  • Full UK Driving Licence, with 6 points or less
  • SVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification OR equivalent Level 3 NVQ
  • IPAF 3a & 3b licence
  • Experience working in an electrical testing environment
  • Experience with Electrical installation/project work – Specifically commercial lighting replacements
