The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a range of slate and plank roofing products to roofing merchants, building merchants, and house builders across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities within the roofing and construction sectors, focusing on roofing merchants, building merchants, and house builders.
  • Maintain and grow existing relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets by promoting and selling the company's slate and plank roofing solutions.
  • Manage the Midlands territory, focusing on the M6 and M1 corridors, ensuring maximum market penetration and brand presence.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to adapt and refine sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the building materials, construction, or roofing industries.
  • Experience selling to roofing merchants, building merchants, or house builders is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive, B2B environment.
  • Strong account management skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • A solid understanding of the Midlands region, including the M6 and M1 corridors, and a willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
