About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Assistive Technology Trainer/DSA Assessor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with disabilities to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold structured meetings with students to identify suitable study and support strategies, including Non-Medical Helper (NMH) and travel support.
  • Evaluate and advise on appropriate hardware, software, and assistive technology to meet individual needs.
  • Prepare and produce study needs assessment reports for students in Higher Education, adhering to regulations and guidelines.
  • Deliver high-quality AT training to meet customer needs, utilizing a hybrid approach as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of DSA funding guidance.
  • Strong communication skills in both Welsh and English.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of assistive technology and its applications.
  • Adept at working to strict KPIs and producing high-quality work.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach.
