Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineering Apprentice to join our dynamic engineering team. This role involves working on a rotational shift basis, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of our production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform essential mechanical and electrical repairs as directed by the engineering team and shift supervisor.
- Proactively identify potential faults and quality issues, ensuring operational efficiency through designated ownership.
- Assist in the development of the mechanical technical team, fostering their engineering capabilities.
- Address any production machine issues that may impact output or safety.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for processes and machinery.
- Lead project themes as assigned by the engineering management team, ensuring they are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART).
- Innovate machine setups and modifications to enhance performance.
- Adopt lean principles to minimize waste and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
Work Environment: This position requires flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule, ensuring coverage and support for our manufacturing operations.
