Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Haygate Veterinary Centre. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to clients, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors to the practice
  • Manage client relationships, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Process client transactions, including payments and insurance claims
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a veterinary or customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of animal care and welfare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
