Reliability Maintenance Engineering Role

About the Job

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at ENGINEERINGUK, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. Your primary responsibility will be to perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment, ensuring that our facilities run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and machinery
  2. Use advanced tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and minimize downtime
  3. Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules
  4. Uphold all health and safety policies and practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
  5. Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise
  6. Work on continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures
A Day in the Life
As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you will be based on-site, responding quickly to any equipment issues that arise. Your day will be filled with a range of tasks, from routine maintenance to troubleshooting and repair. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that our facilities run smoothly and efficiently, and that our equipment is always in good working order.

Requirements
  1. NVQ Level 3 (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline or another practical engineering qualification
  2. Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, preferably in a maintenance or engineering role
  3. Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in condition-based monitoring
  2. Experience working with print and apply machines
  3. Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems
