Auditor (Contract) - Assurance Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Auditor (Contract) to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Assurance team, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class railway in accordance with customer and stakeholder requirements and commitments.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver audit activities to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Contribute to the continual monitoring of all operations through the audit process to ensure business and regulatory requirements are being met.
- Support the Project Delivery and Enabling Functions through the coordination of audit activity with associated works contractors and others.
- Audit business processes to ensure compliance with Legislation, Joint Venture parent company policy requirements, HS2 works information, standards, and contract technical requirements.
- Establish, maintain, and deliver the Integrated Assurance Programme, ensuring traceability and availability of records to the satisfaction of the Client and the External Certifying Body.
- Plan and coordinate audits to be conducted within the enabling functions, project delivery teams, the DJV, and supply chain partners.
- Conduct audits in accordance with ISO 19011:2018 - Guidelines for auditing management systems.
- Prepare and distribute audit reports and apportion findings to indicate conformity or non-conformity.
- Follow-up and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions for audit findings and verification of evidence for corrections.
- Prepare regular reports against Key Performance Indicators (KPI) analysing results and trends to report root causes to the Senior Leadership team.
- Contribute to continued professional development through performance review and identification of appropriate training/coaching.
- Assign roles and responsibilities for observers, subject-matter-experts, and colleagues during joint audits.
- Apply a range of audit methods and coordinate with colleagues during combined Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental management system audits.
Requirements:
