Job Overview

Samsic UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team on a night shift basis. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients and their visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet clients and visitors, providing a professional and courteous service
  • Manage all systems within the security control base, ensuring a high level of vigilance and professionalism
  • Conduct regular site patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises
  • Manage inbound and outbound vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are authorized and accounted for
  • Produce accurate reports as and when needed, providing detailed information on any incidents or issues that may arise
  • Act as an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager, providing regular updates and information
  • Be an effective ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client, promoting a positive and professional image at all times

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a pleasant manner and approachable demeanor
  • Excellent customer care skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to clients and their visitors
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Basic computer literacy, with the ability to use security systems and software
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to follow instructions and prepare reports
  • Good observation skills, with the ability to identify and respond to potential security threats
  • Flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends

Requirements for Employment:

  • Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
  • Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Five-year check-able history, with a HMRC 3 Year Work History record available upon request
