Job Title: Lead Field Engineer - Senior Authorised Person

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Field Engineer to join our team at UK Power Networks in EPN. As the lead, you will be responsible for delivering tree cutting related power outages, as well as leading a small team of Subcontract SAP's.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently plan and deliver individual and team assigned tree cutting power outages.
  • Support and drive the delivery of the overall tree cutting power outage programme.
  • Lead and manage the electrical provision team to ensure programmes of work are delivered to time and budget, and in line with contractual commitments.
  • Assist in the management of budgets relating to the electrical provision.
Requirements:
  • Be a Senior Authorised Person with Field Control as defined by the UK Power Networks Distribution Safety Rules.
  • Educated to HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A broad understanding of UK Power Networks electrical shutdown provision processes, rules and regulations.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
