About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity, security, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, promoting a culture of kindness and compassion.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care delivered.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to report concerns.
