Job Summary
Lloyd Barnes Accountancy Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join their dynamic Finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial transactions, including purchase and sales ledgers, and process payments.
- Reconcile bank transactions and oversee Direct Debits.
- Liaise with departments to resolve financial queries and improve ledger procedures.
- Prepare weekly supplier payments via BACS and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve transactions.
- Assist with credit control and provide support to the Accounts team as needed.
Requirements
- AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong numerical aptitude with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
