Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursery practitioners and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to our children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead a team of nursery practitioners and ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education to our children.
- Curriculum Planning: Plan and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum with room colleagues.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and support the development of nursery practitioners, including training and mentoring.
- Childcare Provision: Ensure the provision of a warm and caring atmosphere for the children, meeting their individual needs and promoting their development.
- Operational Management: Support the management of the nursery, including the operation of facilities and staff, to ensure a high-quality provision of education and care.
- Policy and Procedure: Ensure adherence to Banana Moon policies and procedures, consistently meeting legislative requirements and delivering standards that ensure the highest possible inspection grading.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 3 qualified or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a nursery setting, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Personal Qualities: A warm and caring approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to our children.
