As a Visual Impairment Rehab Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering rehabilitation services that promote independence, confidence, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert rehabilitation services to individuals with visual impairments, including assessment, planning, and implementation of personalized support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare teams, social workers, and community organizations, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and carers to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices that promote excellence in rehabilitation services.
Requirements
  • Hold a professional qualification in Rehabilitation Studies or a related field.
  • Have a sound working knowledge of Community Care Legislation, including Safeguarding policies.
  • Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Have previous experience in rehabilitation services, preferably with individuals with visual impairments.
