Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to provide cover support for a Primary School in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will be flexible, open-minded, and able to adapt their support methods to various age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher with lessons and assist students with their learning, particularly those who require additional support
  • Provide 1:1 support or support groups of children as needed
  • Show excellent curriculum knowledge and manage behavior effectively
  • Promote and nurture independence and build positive working relationships with children and adults alike
Requirements
  • Experience working within a school setting, preferably with SEN experience
  • Flexibility to work different days, including mornings and afternoons
  • Ability to adapt support methods to various age groups
