About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Community Learning Disability Service as a clinical lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing referrals and workflow for adults with learning disabilities, and will work towards the 4 pillars of advanced practice as a trainee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage referrals to Speech and Language Therapy and carry a caseload of complex assessments and interventions
  • Advise on inclusive communication strategies for people with learning disabilities
  • Work towards the 4 pillars of advanced practice as a trainee
  • Collaborate with multi-professional teams to provide high-quality care
Requirements
  • Registered HCPC Speech and Language Therapist
  • Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or willingness to work towards
  • Evidence of relevant CPD
  • Extensive and senior clinical experience in the field of Learning Disabilities
