Job Title: Airside Transportation Specialist

Location: Airside Operations

Reporting to: Duty Management Team

Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts, 4 on 4 off, 40 hours per week

Salary: £33,000 per year

Job Overview

Working Hours & Shift Pattern:

As a key member of our airside transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and effective bus transportation of airport and airline passengers between designated transfer points. You will operate a range of vehicles, including buses, minibuses, and cars, and will be required to perform other driving duties as needed.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and efficient transportation services to airport and airline passengers

• Operate a range of vehicles, including buses, minibuses, and cars

• Perform other driving duties as needed, including operating bowsers, high lifts, and deicing vehicles

• Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure a positive experience for all passengers

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Person Specification:

• Must hold a valid PCV licence (D, D1) with no more than three points endorsed

• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English

• Must be able to pass and maintain an Airside Pass and airside driving Driving Permit

• Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to deal with people effectively and with ease

• A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility to work in alternate locations and to work additional shifts as needed

Key Accountabilities:

• Appearance & Professional Etiquette: Maintain a high level of personal presentation and professionalism at all times

• Knowledge & Experience: Maintain a good level of PCV knowledge and manage your licence to ensure validity of passes and permits are maintained at all times

• Leading by Example: Perform your duties to a consistent high standard and be receptive to guidance or direction from Lead Drivers, Duty Supervisor, and Management levels

• Safety First: Continuously safeguard yourself and your passengers, and be prepared to address or escalate unsafe practices
