Location: Lowfield Heath, Gatwick Airport

Reporting to: Duty Management Team (LGW)

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 40 hours per week

Salary: £33, per year

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Airside Bus Driver to join our team at ABM Aviation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting airport and airline passengers between designated transfer points.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, efficient, and effective bus transportation services to airport and airline passengers.
  • Operate buses, minibuses, or cars, as required, and perform other driving duties as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient operation.

Requirements:

  • Valid PCV licence (D, D1) with no more than three points endorsed.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Pass and maintain an Airside Pass and airside driving Driving Permit, including competency checks.
  • Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to deal with people effectively and with ease.
  • Flexibility to work in alternate locations, including short notice.
  • Flexibility to work additional shifts for ad-hoc demand and duty cover.
