Position Summary:
As a General Practitioner within the HMP framework, you will be responsible for providing community-equivalent primary care services to individuals in custody, as well as addressing urgent medical needs of HMP personnel.

Your role will involve assessing, consulting, and treating a diverse range of patients with various health conditions. At times, you may need to refer patients to specialized healthcare pathways, including secondary care services.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical and nursing professionals to ensure that patients receive a seamless and efficient healthcare experience.


Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver primary care services to incarcerated individuals and HMP staff in urgent situations.
- Conduct triage assessments and provide consultations for various medical conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate referrals to specialized services when necessary.

Requirements:
- Valid HMP clearance (NOMS clearance) is essential.
- Must be a fully qualified and registered General Practitioner.
- Up-to-date with all mandatory training requirements.
- Availability for a full working day is required.

Additional Information:

- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Daily rate: £640 (paid Ltd)
