Key Responsibilities- Manage a defined territory of approximately 600 independent pharmacies, ensuring that the required number of pharmacy staff are contacted, trained, and fully engaged with our products.
- Work towards achieving sales targets and monitoring and managing KPIs.
- Assess the existing levels of knowledge and compliance within the stores and educate the teams on the products, moving them up on the training pathway scale.
- Ensure that all pharmacy staff, including the owner, pharmacist, locum, dispensing technician, or healthcare assistant, are engaged with and fully trained on the target focus brands.
- Conduct face-to-face calls with pharmacy staff, focusing on strong training and sales skills, while also merchandising, managing site POS, auditing, and checking compliance.
- Experience in face-to-face training for business owners and key decision makers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Superb structured training and detailing skills with a high level of influencing.
- Able to communicate effectively across all levels within pharmacy teams (decision makers and influencers).
- A strong sales process and a structured approach to influencing.
- Effective time management and journey planning capabilities.
- Experience in OTC health and beauty and healthcare product selling and detailing would be a huge advantage.
- Some knowledge of category management techniques.
- Effective presentation skills with good use of a variety of sales aids.
- Ability to analyze and interpret numerical data, client presentations, or market reports to develop a communications action plan.
- Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, and work to deadlines.
- Strong commercial acumen and a good decision maker.
