About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at Atlan. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping our customers solve complex data problems and achieve their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various organizations, from Chief Data Officers and Data Platform leaders to data engineers and analysts.
- Act as a trusted advisor to data teams, helping them navigate the journey to building a modern data platform.
- Evangelize Atlan's principles and values to the broader data community, promoting an agile data culture.
- Develop and execute customized demo flows, trials, and proof-of-concepts to arm customers with the information they need to make informed decisions about Atlan.
- Collaborate closely with our product team to incorporate customer feedback into the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Technical Data Practitioner in customer-facing roles.
- Prior experience working with data technology and a strong understanding of data platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and RestAPIs, with the ability to program in Python, Java, Go, or another language.
- Experience with Enterprise/Fortune 500 customers, dealing with complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for finding creative solutions to customer problems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with a desire to build a company from the ground up.
