Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our Clinical Governance Team. This role will involve planning, directing, and completing rigorous audits/inspections across our healthcare settings registered with national regulators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Audits
    • Plan, organise, liaise and conduct Compliance Audits in all Shaw healthcare settings registered with CQC/CIW/Care Inspectorate & Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
    • Provide relevant professional advice and analysis within corporate Compliance & Governance expectations.
  • Regulatory Framework
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework influencing all registered settings.
  • Staff and Audit Management
    • Experience in staff and audit management within health and social care.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ability to collect evidence objectively to make informed decisions about quality of care.
  • General Management Responsibilities
    • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
    • Maintain registration with NMC (when applicable).
    • Keep up to date with changes in legislation, guidance, and best practice development.

Requirements

  • Essential Criteria
    • Excellent analytical, clinical, auditing and presentation skills.
    • Good knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework influencing all registered settings.
    • Experience in staff and audit management within health and social care.
    • Proven experience and qualifications within health and social care including management certification.
    • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to collect evidence objectively to make informed decisions about quality of care.
    • Positive, honest, open and constructive approach when inspecting/auditing.
    • Car driver with a current license.
