Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Stroke Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with acute medical conditions, including stroke and hyper-acute care.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute medical conditions, including stroke and hyper-acute care.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration in the UK.
- Relevant experience in acute medical care, including stroke and hyper-acute care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use basic IT skills and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of professional issues in nursing, including NMC and IPAC.
