Accountant (Permanent, Contract)

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at Lifestyle Brands (the LSB), a growing house of like-minded brands under the SC Johnson umbrella. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the sales ledgers of the Method & Ecover brands, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure invoice accuracy and recognize billing issues, retriggering invoices and allocating customer payments.
  • Timely resolution of customer claims and escalate repetitive issues.
  • Prepare sales ledgers reports and provide regular updates to the AR Manager.
  • Own your ledger, keeping the commentary on item level up to date.
  • Bring items forward for approval and drive write-off initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing bad debt provision calculations.
  • Own the trade spend invoices and influence stakeholders for timely completion.
  • Investigate and analyze debit notes deducted from customers' payments, liaising with the Sales team and supply chain to solve price and stock queries.
  • Internal and external audit: provide auditors with requested documents.
  • Be curious and seek opportunities for process improvement, leading their execution.
Requirements:
  • Strong track record in Accounts Receivable, with experience working on large accounts.
  • Excellent numeric and Excel skills, along with other MS Office applications. SAP experience is desired.
  • Good level of German or Dutch is an advantage.
