We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our team at HMP Werrington, a young offender institution located in Staffordshire. As a Podiatrist in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex and chronic conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, and MSK pathologies.
Main Responsibilities:- Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, and MSK pathologies.
- Determine clinical diagnosis and treatment, and maintain accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, following our policies and procedures.
- HCPC registration with post-registration experience assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and provide high-quality care.
