Quantitative Researcher/Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher/Developer to join our team at Berenberg, a leading European private bank with over 430 years of experience. As a Quantitative Researcher/Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and improvement of our electronic product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial/liquidity/cost/performance modelling
  • Conduct in-depth quantitative research around market microstructure, transaction cost analysis, and complex forecasting and prediction models
  • Develop and implement data services and APIs
  • Implement and create reports using HTML and CSS
  • Collaborate with the team to shape our business and achieve our ambitious goals
Requirements:
  • PhD or Master's degree in a subject with quantitative content (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering)
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modelling techniques and machine learning concepts
  • Knowledge of quantitative analytics, testing models, and technical documentation
