Care Worker Specialist

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our Specialist Services Team to provide care to our clients in and around the Newton Mearns area.
About the Role:You'll be providing care and support to a gentleman who has suffered a severe incomplete cervical cord injury at level C1/2 resulting in total paralysis of all four limbs and the diaphragm. His individual needs include:
- Fully ventilated 24 hours a day and uses both a dry and wet system of ventilation
- Ventilation is delivered via tracheostomy
- Our client is NIL BY MOUTH and receives all nutrition and fluids via Mic-Key Button tube
- Elimination managed by suprapubic catheterisation and bowel regime
12 Hours day shifts from 6.45am to 7pm and night shifts from 6.45pm to 7am. 3 shifts per week.

Key Requirements:- Previous experience
- Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle
- You will be subject to a DBS/PVG check and references
