Job Summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of cargo throughout the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, customs, and agents to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement.
  • Prepare and process documents necessary for export, import, and customs clearance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Track and monitor cargo movement to ensure proper delivery and minimize delays.
  • Manage and maintain accurate billing and cost information in our Transportation Management System (TMS) to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Communicate with clients regarding cargo status, including tracking and tracing, routing and dispatching, and rate quotations.
  • Collaborate with other Crane Worldwide Logistics branches and agents to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to optimize cargo movement and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DNI, LNR, cost accuracy, and ROTP.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of all rules, regulations, and documentation requirements for imports and exports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Physical Demands

  • Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight.
