Hotel Restaurant Director

The Francis Hotel is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our culinary team and drive exceptional guest experiences. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective restaurant strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
- Oversee menu planning, inventory management, and food quality control
- Monitor and control restaurant expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or equivalent role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
