We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and HR Administrator to join our team at JH Mechanical & Electrical Services. As a key member of our finance and administration team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day finance and HR tasks, driving process improvements, and ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the company's financial transactions, including bank, credit card, and supplier account reconciliations, sales invoicing, and credit control.
- Perform HR administration tasks, including employee timesheet management, recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of financial and HR reports, as required.
- Coordinate with the Head of Finance to manage the sales ledger, including raising sales invoices and assisting with dispute resolutions.
- Implement credit control procedures to collect debts that have become overdue.
- Examine financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies and highlight opportunities for system improvements.
- AAT, ACA, ICAS, or above, or working towards.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Trustworthy and discreet.
- Experience of working at a small to medium-sized company.
- Used to working to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Office 365, with advanced Excel skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to work and problem-solving.
40 hours per week.
25 days per year (April – March) + bank holidays.
