F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

M&E Global Resources is a leading defence contractor providing services on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK, US, and Australian contractors.

We have an exciting opportunity for an F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Australia.

The Role

Based in Williamtown Site in NWS, near Newcastle Australia, you will work alongside our dedicated workforce on a Military base.

This role offers a fantastic chance to further develop your skills as an F-35 Engineer in an exciting environment.

The Essential Requirements
  • You must hold a British or American passport.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working on the desired aircraft, or 2-3 years' experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
  • One of the following aircraft-related qualifications: Trade Certs, ONC, BTEC Diplomas, or HNC/HND.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance.
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools.
  • Working knowledge of technical publications and logistics information systems.
  • Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects and lead teams through complex aircraft relevant tasks.
  • Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.
  • Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance performed by mechanics.
