Priory School Slough: Finance Assistant Opportunity

An exciting role has arisen for a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support the Business Manager in ensuring the finance function runs smoothly and in line with financial regulations.

About the Role

As a Finance Assistant, you will be part of a close-knit administration team that works collaboratively to provide an effective and efficient support service to all stakeholders of the school.

About the School

Priory School is a diverse and multi-cultural Primary Foundation School located on the outskirts of Slough. The school has approximately 650 children ranging from Nursery to Year 6, and a Resource Base with 60 children for pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and adhere to the finance function in a school and the financial regulations that must be followed
  • High levels of computer literacy, including Excel
  • Good level of general education, including English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent
  • Willingness to work with the wider administration and school teams and participate in school events as required
